Etihad Airways is the prominent flight operating in the United Arab Emirates with the slogan, ‘Choose Well’. Operating since the year 2003, it currently flies to 65 destinations in the world covering destinations in Middle East, Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia, and North America.

Qatar Airways Vs Etihad Airways
Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways are two luxurious airlines operating since 1997 and 2003, respectively. Today we will be looking at some of the similarities and differences of the services provided by these two airline companies.
Economy class
The Economy Class cabin option of Qatar Airways and Etihad provide a more or less similar level of comforts. Each seats of the Economy class in both these airlines measures up to 18 inches as opposed to 17.5 inches in Emirates.
However, if you have to choose which airline provides more comfort space, Etihad provides slightly more comfort space in Economy Class option than Qatar Airways. Additional items like cushion, blanket and pillow are provided for all its passengers.
Business class
Business class in any airlines are more comfortable and have many extra spaces as well. Gulf Airlines in particular like, Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad comes with an upgraded option of seats that can be converted to beds.

First Class
Travelling First Class is always a dream for all travelers! While not everyone can afford the price of this cabin seat, it does feel good know at least the luxurious features that comes with this cabin option.
First Class seats are provided with additional privacy and comfort. It features a private cubicle or compartment with a large seat that converts into a flatbed.
At Qatar Airways, the first class cabin option comes with an extra-large padded seat and the Etihad First Class cubicle also features spacious seats made of leather. The inflight entertainment system is also bigger than the other two cabin class options!

There is a key difference between Qatar Airways and Etihad airlines here. At Qatar Airways, they provide numerous deals and discounts that are found to be cheaper than the ones offered at Etihad Airways.
Dining
The dining service at both Qatar Airways and Etihad are impeccable but depends on the type of cabin seats you chose. For example, although it serves three-course meals, Economy class gets served in plastic containers while the other two class seats gets served in fancy crockeries.
Menus include meals like pasta, roasts and a selection of vegetables, beans and salads, bread rolls and desserts of fresh fruit and so on. The meals for Business class at Qatar Airways comes with fancy meals. They have an à la carte menu similar to First Class which has fine table cloths, caviar starters, afternoon tea and a selection of wine.
Pricing
This may be because Etihad came into operation way after Qatar Airways, the prices of their tickets are higher and more expensive than Qatar Airways.
