My Stay At Tuscany
Travelling is a good and rejuvenating experience. Sometimes, it can be a soul searching journey of adventures. On a particular occasion, I and some of my friends bought ourselves some air tickets and we headed to Tuscany, Italy with the little savings we made.
Tuscany is a region located in the central part of Italy. It is home to some of the world’s most famous Renaissance art and architecture. You can find Michelangelo’s work such as the “David” statue and other historical works like the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo basilica. We booked a hotel around the countryside close to the lush green meadow. The views of the landscape were pretty surreal and captivating. I would believe a Nature Lover would definitely romanticize such scenic beauty.
About my stay at Tuscany, I would say it was a beautiful mix feelings of history and nature. You get to experience the work of art and beauty from the historical remains and works. Then you also get to experience the beautiful nature out in the countryside. The other full story of my trip will be written in another blog post.
If one would ask the best time to travel to Tuscany? Probably the end of summer heat, that is towards September and October are the best time to travel in Tuscany or before the pre-summer heat like April, May and June. However, those months are usually the busiest and the most expensive months.

Among all my travel, the worst experience I had was a flight cancel I encountered. I was on a connecting flight with an onestop travel in between to catch the second flight. However, due to a violent storm, the second flight was cancelled and I was left stranded at the airport. I immediately approach the manager and also contacted trip.com customer service. My problem was intimated and rest assured I was provided with a hotel to stay for the night. In addtion, the agency had arranged another flight for the next day. But with all that, I missed an important meeting due to the flight cancelled which made my work complicated.
On another incident, the United airline serviced which I booked through Tripcom had changed the departure date to the next day. I contact the airline customer service center immediately and enquired about the changed of flight scheduled. The operator said that, the flight was cancelled due to bad weather and they were sorry about the inevitable circumstances. Then I called Tripcom about the postponed schedules. And, they said they were genuinely sorry to hear about what happened and the book airport transfers. Then I was assured of an alternate arrangement if needed such as different air tickets or refund in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

Country, such as the United Kingdom has announced a four-step plan to reopen their country so people can come back to their normal life.
